Our technical staff  has expectations of all its players.  Throughout the course of the year our players and teams should see growth in all facets of their game.  Our coaches will drive our players to improve using on field training, match play and video.  Competition, attitude and performance are our pillars of player/team growth.  

Technical Skills:  Technical skills are the foundation of a HEX player.  Each player is expected to train on his/her own.  

Physical Fitness:  HEX players are required to be physically fit.  Endurance, speed, agility, and strength are the building blocks to a successful athletic performance.  Coaches will promote healthy living habits.

Tactical Awareness:  The HEX players will be able to read  and process the game which will best help the team achieve its objectives.   Great instincts, timing and spacing 

Mentality: HEX players will be mentally tough to handle the rigors of both training and matches.  Being focused and composed, as well as having the resilience to overcome setbacks. Off the field, the use of film is a critical component of player development.  Players and coaches  must be committed to taking the time to break down film

Leadership:  Leadership is an essential component of the HEX player.  He/she must be able to inspire and motivate their teammates as well as set an example through their actions.  The ability to communicate and express thoughts and instructions are invaluable skills.

Passion:  Passion is a crucial element of our club as it fuels motivation, determination, and commitment. .  The HEX player has a deep love of the game and a burning desire to succeed.

Commitment:  The backbone quality of the HEX as this drives all successful players.  All HEX players must be willing to grind to grow personally and as a team.  This means making sacrifices and continuing ways to improve, regardless of outside circumstances.

Intangibles: Be a good person on and off the field.  High character individuals who positively contribute to our community are a staple for the HEX player.  Balancing a busy schedule and succeeding in the classroom.  We allow and encourage our players to play high school soccer and other sports.  Players understand that their status will always be challenged both within and outside our club.
